CHANNEL 4 hit A Place In The Sun lost one of its long-serving presenters today.
Scarlette Douglas has heralded what she called “the end of an era” after seven years fronting the show.
Her last ever appearance on the series, where Brits are helped to find homes abroad, aired this afternoon.
She shared a video of some of her outfits on the programme, writing: “After 7 years, my final ever episode of @aplaceinthesun airs today at 3pm!
“It’s the end of an era! I hope you’ve enjoyed my outfits, my crazy shoes, funky hairstyles & fun personality!”
She added: “I’m sure the repeats will keep on coming but there’s plenty of other goodness coming your way!”
One A Place in the Sun fan replied: “Noooooooo! Don’t go!!!! Is there a petition we can sign to keep you? ?.
“Seriously though 7 years eh? Well done. Wishing you every success in your further ventures and adventures.”
The Sun revealed at the weekend that she was stepping down to focus on property development and fronting other prime-time shows.
They include a series with her brother, property developer Stuart, called Worst House On The Street, and renovation show Flipping Fast.

A Place in the Sun’s Jean Johansson was among those paying tribute to Scarlette after her departure was revealed.
She wrote: “I’ll never forget the first time I saw you on A Place in the Sun, it was the first time I saw a black woman presenting a property show and it hugely inspired me.
“Thank You, loving watching your career explode but we’ll miss you (and your outfits).”
A source told The Sun: “Scarlette loved her time on A Place In The Sun, especially the platform it gave her.
“But now she wants to focus on property development with her brother and is really excited about new projects.
“She is passionate about adding value to houses and thinks the new series can help a lot of people.”
