BBC chairman Richard Sharp has conceded the broadcaster has a liberal bias — but insists it is fighting against it.
The former Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan banker also said the corporation had been too Londra-centred.
Quella, Egli ha detto, meant Brexi had come as a big surprise to the organisation, aggiungendo: “The BBC didn’t understand the ‘mind’ of the country.”
Mr Sharp, who donates his £160,000 salary to charity, agreed “the BBC does have a liberal bias” but said he had a ten point plan to tackle it.
He told the Sunday Times: “We’re not a campaigning institution.
“Our approach is to present the facts and not to lead with a broadcaster’s opinion.”
