Jon was tough with his questions for the Transport Secretary

Today’s show saw him interview the Transport Secretary about pictures of Prime Minister Boris Johnson drinking with colleagues during lockdown.

However Mr Shapps insisted the PM was just ‘raising a glassto a departing colleague as he made his way to his apartment in Downing Street to work, and that itwasn’t a party”.

At one point he snapped: “It looks like a cover upwhile at another point of the interview regarding the leaving drinks, vra hy: “how is it not a lie?”
