BUSINESS and consumer presenter Nina Warhurst missed out on a charity event on Saturday.
Die BBC Ontbyt presenter revealed to her Twitter followers she had to rush her son to A&E and gave an update on what led them there.
Nina Warhurst gave her fans a fright over the weekend after she revealed one of her sons had to be taken to Wythenshawe Hospital, in Greater Manchester.
The mother-of-two and star breakfast host shared a worrying snap on Twitter as she announced she had to change her own plans at the last minute, in a panic.
Oorspronklik, Nina had intended to walk for Alzheimer’s Society on Saturday, “but life took a different turn” vir haar.
In the picture she Tweeted, Nina showed her son’s arm in a cast, covered with stickers, without going into detail although one could assume he may have broken a bone.

“Supposed to be walking 26 miles for Alzheimer’s Society today, but life took a different turn”, she captioned her post.
“Five hours in A&E ain’t so bad when the paid staff are attentive, vriendelik & keep you updated. He cried as we LEFT.”
After thanking the hospital staff for their support and professionalism, Nina penned a message to the charity event she has had to miss.
“(Ps thanks for sponsor I’ll do the miles somehow!)”, het sy bygevoeg.

Nina gave a quick update later on about her son’s cast and the stickers decorating it.
“Tbf walked close to this trying to locate cash, break a note* and escape the A&E car park.”
“*Thanks @marksandspencer for the compulsory purchase. Real classy.” (sic)
Followers were quick to worry about the young boy and sent him well-wishes in the comment section.
“Ag nee! Hope he’s doing okay”, one of them wrote as another chimed in: “Oh poor thing, hope you get some sleep now.”
A third follower commented: “Ag nee! Lots of love to you all.”
Another fan jumped in: “Ag nee, wishing him a speedy recovery” while one final follower tweeted: “Hope the little fella is so on the mend.”
Hailing from Sale, Nina began her career in 2005 as a desk producer for Russia Today.
Nina has been married since March, 2014, to Ted who works as a caterer.
The pair met a year earlier in Croatia.
