BEAT The Chaser fans were left gutted after the largest EVER prize of £500,000 was lost tonight.
The latest episode of the ITV game show saw Londoner George take on the six Chasers.
The economics researcher, who confessed he’d like to use the cash pot prize to travel to Japan, got off to a flying start.
Host Bradley Walsh told the player that if he got one more right, he could go for all six Chasers, as well as the super offer.
He couldn’t wipe the smile off his face after realising that he answered it correctly and could go ahead with what Bradley said.
Paul Sinha AKA Sinnerman told George that he could walk away with £500,000 if he managed to beat all six Chasers.
To be safe, George decided to take on four of the geniuses for £50,000 with an extra 16 secondi.
When the Chasers couldn’t answer a question correctly about a rock band, George managed to win the round with 35 seconds to go.
