Many of us have also landed a dream job, been promoted or discovered love, adding to the upbeat mood, it found.
We are grinning 17 times a day on average and smiling another 25 times as the lifting of lockdown sees optimism sweep the UK.
Peak joy arrives at 1.10pm today as millions of us settle fully into a relaxed weekend, the Happiness Index poll of 2,000 people shows.
People are feeling especially jolly because they are now free to spend the money they squirrelled away in the pandemie, it reveals.
