HAPPINESS is rocketing among Brits because of all the cash saved during lockdown, a survey shows.

Many of us have also landed a dream job, been promoted or discovered love, adding to the upbeat mood, it found.

Peak joy arrives at 1.10pm today as millions of us settle fully into a relaxed weekend, the Happiness Index poll of 2,000 people shows.

People are feeling especially jolly because they are now free to spend the money they squirrelled away in the pandemia, it reveals.
