BRITAIN basked in some welcome warmth yesterday, turning skies pink and sending sunbathers to the beach.
On top of the Cow and Calf Rocks, on Ilkley Moor, West Yorks, a walker was treated to pastel skies.
Dance school pals were at the beach with bucket, spade and beach ball in Lytham St Annes, near Blackpool.
And while London at 16C (60F) was hotter than Ibiza, in Spain a sandstorm from the Sahara blew over the south, including Benidorm.
The weather is expected to remain warm this week.
