CHANGING Rooms fans have been left covering their eyes in horror after witnessing a ‘Mr Blobby’ makeover.

Viewers were gobsmacked to see the latest transformation, which saw homeowners Eddie and Lotta surprised with a pink and yellow lounge and dining room.

But fans of the C4 show felt it was more suited to 80s TV character Mr Blobby, from Noel’s House Party, than somebody’s grandmother.

The couple live in a 1930s property in Tunbridge Wells, which Whinnie drew on in her pink and yellow makeover.

She told the couple: “I really wanted to use nice pastel colours. It is a nod to the Art Deco era. It’s granny chic.

Eddie told Whinnie hereally likedhis new pink sofa, with Lotta adding: “I don’t feel like I’m in our roomin a good way.

But she added: “It is much more pink than we would have done.

At the end of the show, it was revealed the couple have since repainted their ceiling white.
