HOMEBUYERS might think they’ve discovered a bargain with a “terraced house” in London on the market for £25,000 but the pictures tell a different story.
It’s being offered for sale at just £25,000, well below what the site quotes for the average price of a terraced house in the area of £775,000.
The location is handy for primary schools with two just a short walk away.
It’s close to transport too with Queen’s Park tube station and Brondesbury Park train station both less than half a mile away.
Anyone buying it won’t have to worry about the lease as there’s 944 years to go, which should be enough for anyone.
But all is not as it might seem.

Any cursory glance at the photo on the site indicates the “terraced house” is nothing more than a garage and further down it says “garage no 2 for sale”.
The ad states: “The property is conveniently situated on Willesden Lane only moments away from Willesden Green Station and all the amenities.”
Things are no clearer either on RightMove which describes the property type as “terraced” while further down the ad it also says it is “garage no 2 for sale”.
So exactly what any buyer actually gets is mired on confusion.
The property – whether it’s a garage or a terraced home – is being sold by Homeview Estates.
In October this year a car parking space opposite Harrods in London’s upmarket Knightsbridge area was on the market for £250,000.
At the start of the year, an underground parking bay in the same part of London was listed for sale at £350,000.
