CORONATION Street star Sally Ann Matthews has been praised by fans after revealing she’s a volunteer at a Covid vaccination centre.
The 51-year-old, who plays Jenny on the ITV soap, shared a snap of herself after her first shift helping the effort to get the nation boosted.
She captioned the image: “First volunteer shift at a Covid vaccination centre ✅. Great to see so many people coming in for their booster x”
Her followers rushed to congratulate her, with one person writing: “Well done to you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
A second added: “From an exhausted NHS worker/nurse…Thankyou SO MUCH ❤️🙌.”
While a third remarked: “Just another thing that’s makes you so amazing ❤️”

Her co-star Sally Dynevor added: “Fabulous Sal,” while Sally Carman commented: “Ledge.”
