COUNTRYFILE star Adam Henson has shared a health update with fans following major surgery.
The 56-year-old farmer and TV presenter appeared on the latest instalment of the programme.
He told viewers he recently underwent a hip operation after suffering in pain for a while now.
Giving an update, he said this Autumn had been a particularly painful one.
He continued by revealing his hip problems started to affect his everyday life.
A clip then showed Adam in his hospital bed just after the intense surgery where he spoke to fans.
He said: “It’s now been pretty much 12 hours since I had my hip resurfacing operation.
“The feeling in my legs and waist have all come back now, pretty much my right leg, which is the leg I had done, is still a bit tingly and a bit weird.”
He added: “I’ve never really had surgery quite like this before, it does make me feel for all those people that have gone through things an awful lot worse.”
Then Adam shared another update from home, just a few days on from the surgery.

In the video he admitted the recovery was a lot more painful and slower than he imagined but he was ‘very lucky’ to have a great team behind him on the farm.
“I’m very lucky to have a strong team on the farm who can do all the work. In three or four weeks’ time, hopefully, I’ll be back out and about.”
In the same episode the topic of wildlife crime was explored, but it let viewers upset as the BBC was forced to issue a warning.
