“Now my children have grown up it’s much easier. I am a hands-on mum but I just feel like this is my time.”
Off-screen, Sally is married to Emmerdale scriptwriter Tim Dynevor and was followed into acting by her daughter Phoebe, 26, who is the star of Netflix series Bridgerton.
Speaking about her character on Corrie, whom she has played since 1986, ella dijo: “I like the idea of people seeing me for who I am after all these years.

“That scares me a little bit because I’m very used to hiding behind a character and just being part of Coronation Street but it will be nice for people to see me as me and not as my character.”
On taking to the ice, sportsman Ben told ITV he’s worried he won’t be any good at it.
Él dijo: “I used to skate a little when I was a kid.
“I’d go to ice discos when I was 15, 16 (años) and you’d always see these kids that could do pirouettes that had a proper dancing background.
“I like the idea of learning a new sport and a new skill.”
“I’m quite competitive as well so I like the challenge of competing against others doing something that I’m not necessarily good at!”
