Steven has been a lifelong fan of the show, having started watching it when he was 12, and in an exclusive chat with The Sun’s TV Mag, he revealed he had even applied to go on the show as a contestant a few years ago.

Egli ha detto: “I tried to by the way. It’s on my Twitter. If you type in How It’s Going I posted a screen shot: ‘Having a pint with a young entrepreneur who went on Dragon’s Den and got on with Peter and Theo. Awesome to exchange stories.’

That’s so funny. Quello era 2013. There is a screen shot of my diary from when I was 18 and I applied for Dragon’s Den, which someone found in an old video I made years ago.

I had written, ‘I’ve just applied for Dragon’s Den and I’m hoping to hear back. My application was really good so I’m hopeful.’ But I didn’t make it.

In a twist of fate, Steven was offered the chance to join the show as a Dragon almost a decade to the day of when he applied to be a contestant.

Egli ha detto: “Era 10 years to the week from when I applied that I was then announced as a Dragon so I thought that was really awesome.

I don’t want to do reality TV. I don’t want to skate on ice.
