IT seems there is very little that Ed Sheeran can’t do.
The humble singer/songwriter is easily one of the biggest stars on the planet with countless awards and accolades to his name.
And now he can add fashion designer to his CV after launching his own eco-conscious collection.
Though I don’t think we will be seeing him showcasing at Fashion Week just yet.
Rather than going for the high-end market and flogging over-priced fancy clobber like Victoria Beckham, Ed is keeping things more simple with bucket hats and dungarees.
The Shape Of You singer has teamed up with independent clothing brand Lucy & Yak for the four-part range that also includes a T-shirt and hoodie, due out later this month.

Ed says the designs have been inspired by his record-breaking Equals album – which he’s currently performing to sell-out stadiums around the world.
Due to the shows, which have included a staggering five nights at Wembley Stadium, being performed in the round, the production team had to work out a novel way of getting the superstar to the stage without being spotted by the audience.
Their far-from-glamorous solution was to shove him in a box and hope for the best
Lifting the lid on the quirky method of transport, radio host Greg James admitted Ed sees the trip as “welcomed piece and quiet”.

Greg said: “I asked, ‘do you have sweets for the journey?’ and he replied ‘alas, no’.
“I asked if his guitar went with him inside the box, to which he replied ‘no, just the sports shirt that I wear later in the show’. ”
Luckily, Ed isn’t sitting totally in the dark as the box has been fitted out with a tiny lamp.
Ed said: “I sit down. There is a vanity light in there as it gets a bit sick-making when it’s dark and I’m bumped around.”
I’d like to think he’s also rocking one of his bucket hats for the trip, but I guess we’ll never know.
Daisy’s back in black
DAISY LOWE looks effortlessly stylish in an all-black ensemble.
Daisy has been enjoying a bumper few weeks after attending Glastonbury last month.
Gushing over returning to Glasto after its three-year break, Daisy said: “It’s my favourite place. With so many of my favourite humans . . . so good to be back.”
But another act is on the brink of getting the same treatment – Metallica.
The heavy metal group’s 1986 song Master Of Puppets is used as the soundtrack for a key part of the latest instalment of the Netflix series, which dropped last week.
Now that song is racing up the charts too, as a new generation of people discover the tune
Yesterday, it was at No3 on the iTunes chart and is still on the rise.
Reacting to the scene, which features rocker Eddie, played by Joseph Quinn, the group said: “We were all stoked to see the final result and when we did we were totally blown away . . .
“It’s so extremely well done, so much so that some folks were able to guess the song just by seeing a few seconds of Joseph Quinn’s hands in the trailer!
“How crazy cool is that?
“It’s an incredible honor to be such a big part of Eddie’s journey and to once again be keeping company with all of the other amazing artists featured in the show.”
If they make even a fraction of what Kate has banked from this musical renaissance, they will be having a very good summer indeed.
Rochelle has a purple patch
ROCHELLE HUMES makes a bold statement in a bright purple two-piece
The Saturdays singer enjoyed a night on the town as she celebrated the launch of Khloe Kardashian’s new clothing line for Good American.
Rochelle is tipped to renew her wedding vows later this month as she celebrates a decade married to JLS star Marvin Humes.
Rochelle and Marvin said “I do” in 2012 in a lavish ceremony at Blenheim Palace with a VIP-filled crowd.
Doja’s Barbie whirl
SHE previously hinted she would be taking a break from music
But I can reveal music bosses aren’t ready to let Doja Cat slip away just yet.
The chart-topper has been snapped up by Warner Bros execs to appear on the soundtrack for plastic fantastic film Barbie.
A source: “Producers think Doja is a perfect fit for the film and were determined to get her on board.
“They were really impressed with her song on the ELVIS soundtrack as well.
“Between that and the fact she’s one of the biggest stars on the planet right now it was a no-brainer.”
Steps are back with a pop banger of a heartbreak anthem
The track, which is called Hard 2 Forget, looks set to see them return to dancefloors around up and down the UK.
In the accompanying video the foursome turn a greasy spoon into a disco as they dance away as they sing about being unable to move on from a lover
My local cafe could do with a revamp but I’m not sure an overload of sequins and glitter would go down quite as well with the locals.
Fleur’s ace look
Fleur, who came second on The X Factor in 2014, says she hopes the show does not come back too quickly amid rumours Simon Cowell is already plotting a 2023 series.
Insisting a return to ratings joy isn’t in the bag, she said: “I feel like we should really be missing it, like craving it almost, and then it comes back. It has only been like, two years now.
“I do think if they bring it back that they have really got to freshen it up and make it really different, because if they just come back with the same feel and the same energy that will be a bit disappointing.”
Secret rehearsals for Gaga’s concert
HER Little Monsters have waited four long years to see Lady Gaga back on stage in the UK, but I can promise you it will be worth it.
The pop icon will finally kick off her Chromatica Ball tour in Germany in just ten days’ time before reaching London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at the end of the month.
And I can reveal Gaga is taking no chances when it comes to making sure the show is perfect.
A source said: “Gaga knows how long fans have been waiting for these shows and is putting everything into making them spectacular.
“She has splashed out on a warehouse in London for her team to secretly rehearse the show over and over until everything is exactly how she wants it.
“In terms of staging it’s probably the most complex she’s ever done — and that really is saying something as her tours are always impressive. The stage is huge — money clearly is no object.
“Visuals have been shot and right now it’s about tweaking things so everything goes smoothly and without a hitch.”
Gaga’s last shows in the UK came at the very start of 2018 when her Joanne Tour called in to Arena Birmingham and the city’s Genting Arena.
The star was heartbroken at having to axe the rest of the UK leg — including two shows at London’s O2 Arena — due to excruciating pain caused by fibromyalgia.
While she has been away from the stage, Gaga hasn’t been out of sight.
Since then she’s turned herself into one of the biggest actors on the planet thanks to roles in A Star Is Born and House Of Gucci.
