EMMERDALE fans have been left horrified after Liv Flaherty was battered unconscious in a horror prison attack.
Liv – played by Isobel Steele – was left desperate and upset in tonight’s episode when Vinny told her she wouldn’t be getting out of prison yet.
Liv had hoped that the fact Meena had confessed to killing Ben and her other victims would see her set free, pourtant, Vinny explained it would be delayed as Manpreet – who Meena confessed to – is in a coma in hospital.
After sending Vinny away, Liv went back to her cell in tears, which fellow prisoner Mel immediately picked up on.
When she asked if she had had a “lover’s tiff” with Vinny, Liv told her to “shut up please”, and she replied: “I’ll let that pass because I can see that you’re upset.”
Liv the explained what Vinny had said, and the situation she still found herself to be in, but she got little sympathy from her fellow inmate.
Mel told her to get used to being in prison, as she would be here for a while.
Elle a dit: “You got done Liv, be like me and accept it.”

Liv once again told her to shut up, before standing up and saying “I don’t want to talk any more.”
Mel replied in a sinister voice: “Someone needs to learn some manners” before closing the cell door.
In the final moments of the show, Vinny was seen being reassured by mum Mandy that Liv would be fine, but as she spoke, the camera moved to the prison where an alarm was flashing and ringing out around the block.
