A FORMER Britain’s Got Talent finalist choirboy who landed a £1million record deal has appeared in court accused of raping two women.
Andrew Johnston moved judge Amanda Holden to tears with his performance of Pie Jesu in 2008.
But now he faces an appearance before a different kind of judge after being charged with two rapes in 2020.
Johnston, nou 27, of Carlisle, allegedly raped one woman at an address in Wes -Londen in November 2019.
He is further charged with sexually assaulting her in March 2020.
He is also accused of raping another woman in a flat in Suid-Londen between January and February 2020.
Johnston did not enter a plea when he appeared before Westminster magistrates on Wednesday and was granted bail.
He will appear at Southwark crown hof for a pre-trial hearing on 7 September.
Now sporting a ZZ Top-style beard, he looked a world away from the cherubic 13-year-old who dazzled TV viewers.

His singing career blossomed briefly after the show but stalled when his voice broke.
