FRANKIE Bridge revealed she made her husband Wayne draw up a will on their honeymoon during a mid-flight anxiety attack.

The former Saturdays singer said she begged her footballer husband to ring up a lawyer while they waited for the plane to leave.

Writing in her new self-help book Grow: Motherhood, Mental Health & Me she said: “I burst into tears. The stress of leaving Parker behind had been building up.

واصلت: “I had tried to overcome the sense of terror and fear that engulfed me throughout the days leading up to this moment and suddenly, when I realised I couldn’t turn back, I was here, on a plane, with no exit, it hit me.

At a time we were supposed to be at our happiest, I realised that if we both died Parker would be alone and without parents for the rest of his life.

Frankie also said her mental health struggles flared up during both her pregnancies, and like many new mums she found it hard to come to terms with her changing body.

“On the other hand I also carried the immense weight of underlying shame. I was so ashamed and if I’m honest, shocked that I wasn’t a gorgeous, glowing, neat and tidy pregnant woman.

Comments from strangers didn’t help, and Frankie added: “People often thought I was carrying twins.” The result of her battle with her looks led to Frankie believing she had “failed at pregnancy” and even before she had given birth she said she was terrified she “wasn’t the right kind of mother”.

Her career as a pop star had begun when she was picked to be a singer in youth group S Club Juniors when she was just 12.

She was part of the group for three years before she was picked to join girl band The Saturdays, alongside Una Healy, Rochelle Humes, Mollie King and Vanessa White, في 2004.
