A HOUSE built to float above water has been hailed as Grand Designs’ most breathtaking property of all time.
During an episode that featured last year, architectural designer Dan and his wife, interior designer Nina, realised their vision for a tranquil home surrounded by nature.
They originally bought a plot of land in Sussex for £850,000, with the intention of knocking down the 1930s house there at the time.
Dan and Nina envisioned turning the swampy pool on the property into a natural pond, creating a peaceful landscape for themselves and their two daughters to enjoy.
Große Designs fans were left in awe by the property, with dozens dubbing the house “one of the best” to ever feature on the Kanal 4 Serie.
Alongside an array of red love heart emojis, one person penned: “I’ve been watching this show for years and the aquatic home is, by a country mile, the best property I have come across.”
