GRANITE Harbour is a gritty BBC drama about an oil magnet who is murdered, which a rookie detective must investigate.
Where was Granite Harbour filmed?
Having completed his final tour with the Royal Military Police, Lindo has hopes of becoming a detective at New Scotland Yard.
But instead of ending up in London, he finds him Detective Constable in the North East of Scotland.
Lindo is sent to work in Aberdeen and must quickly adapt to his new life – which is a far cry from his world as a solider.
Luckily he finds an ally in his mentor, DCI Lara ‘Bart’ Bartlett, who is a born and bred Aberdonian who is used to working alone.
They are thrown in at the deep end, when their first case sees them investigate the murder of one of Aberdeen’s most recognisable faces from the Oil Industry.
Filming for Granite Harbour kicked off in Aberdeen in May 2022.
Thew show is set in this Scottish city, so the series has kept to its roots.

According to the Glasgow Times, shooting took place at the Saracen Head in Gallowgate.
A source told the outlet that actress Hannah Donaldson – who plays DCI Lara ‘Bart’ Bartlett – was seen filming there.
The actress was pictured leaving the pub with the cast and crew.

Granite Harbour gets underway tonight (December 2, 2022) at 7pm on BBC One.
The show will continue on Friday nights at 9pm, ending on December 16, 2022.
