A TODDLER has been rushed to hospital after reportedly falling from a block of flats.
Emergency crews were scrambled to Bootle in Merseyside at around 12.40pm after the horror unfolded.
Police confirmed a two-year-old child was found injured outside the high rise.
The toddler was taken to hospital with a head injury but they are not thought to be in a life-threatening condition.
It is understood the child may have fallen from the flats but this has not been confirmed.
A cordon is currently in place at the high rise on Capricorn Way.
Merseyside Police said: “We can confirm emergency services were called to an address on St James Drive in Bootle today, Woensdag 5 Oktober.
“At around 12.40pm officers were called to a report that a two-year-old child was found injured outside a block of flats.
“The child has been taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life threatening.
“An investigation to establish the circumstances is now underway.”
