Anne Robinson has revealed a ‘personal mistake’ she made while presenting The Weakest Link.
Le présentateur de télévision, 78, is most known for her to-the-point comments which can often be controversial.
However she’s revealed she made a mistake while presenting The Weakest Link on BBC Une.
Anne presented the quiz show for 12 years which sees contestants compete against each other in a series of general knowledge questions to win a large amount of prize money.
During her time on the programme she went under the knife and had a facelift.
Soon after the procedure she returned to hosting duties instead of resting – a move she regrets.
As a result Robinson, qui était 60 à l'époque, was trolled for her appearance.
Speaking on RTÉ’s Angela Scanlon’s Ask Me Anything, Anne said: “When you have cosmetic surgery it is a bit like taking a leg of lamb out of the oven. You have to let it rest for a bit.
“I went on television quite quickly afterwards and it was a famous headline which said “this face is the Weakest Link” as it was quite blown up.”
Despite the trolling she received, Anne doesn’t regret being upfront about her facelift.

“I think you are only as sick as your secrets. It is very hard to be pretending you have not had a facelift,” elle a ajouté.
Since presenting The Weakest Link Anne took over as host of Canaliser 4‘s Countdown.
toutefois, she stepped down from the role in July of this year.
Speaking following her exit from the beloved show, Anne said: “I tried to be nice on Countdown.
“I loved it but nothing was ever going to be as wonderful as The Weakest Link or being a newspaper journalist.”
