THE Ukrainian refugee left heartbroken and penniless when a love rat ditched her by text has declared: “I will not be beaten.”
The IT manager, from Lviv, is in emergency accommodation after Tony, 30, kicked her out of their home, verklaar: “You are not welcome here any more.”
She said he spent his days while they were together gambling online while she paid for food and bills from her benefits and did his cooking, cleaning and washing “while he just sat there”.
Tony had swept Sofiia off her feet when she moved in with him, partner Lorna Garnett and their girls, aged three and six, in Bradford.
He had signed up to the Homes for Ukraine scheme and collected Sofiia, who made a two-month trek to escape her homeland, at Manchester Airport in May.

Tensions rapidly developed as Lorna saw her partner of ten years flirt with Sofiia.
Ten days in, Lorna cracked and asked Sofiia to go. She was stunned when Tony said: “If she’s going, I’m going.”
They moved in with Tony’s parents then found their own place but Sofiia’s hopes of a new life lie ruined after he dumped her at the weekend.
She was arrested and released without charge twice in two days when he called police as she tried to collect her things.

Sofiia said: “I really loved him and thought we’d spend the rest of our lives together and have children but he changed. I think the pressure got to him.
“Even his own mum stopped speaking to him over what he did to Lorna.
“He knew when he threw me out that I had no money, nowhere to go, no other friends in this country.
“It will be a long and hard journey for me now but I will rebuild my life and when I do I will be glad he is no longer a part of it.”
Sofia, who has a computer sciences degree, aangegaan: “I’m heartbroken, I really believed his bulls**t.
‘HE’S A LIAR’
“He’s a liar. He started making moves on me when I’d only been living with him and Lorna for two days.
“We didn’t have sex until we’d moved out. I wouldn’t do that.
“But he would hold my hand when we were alone and cuddle me.
“It was all him, he started everything. I didn’t split him and Lorna up, that was over long before I arrived.”
She said Tony treated her as a dogsbody and gambled his money away when they set up home.
