A FAN of BBC show, Inútil, has lifted the lid on the real goings-on behind the scenes and how producers ‘fake’ an audience.
On social news aggregation site, Reddit, one user shared how the BBC weren’t able to fill the studio with audience members for the popular general knowledge show.
In answer to a post about ensuring entry to filming of the show fronted by Alexander Armstrong, Estrella porno se burlan después de casarse mientras los trolls dicen 'mamá debe estar orgullosa': “I went to a filming of Pointless a few years back when it was still in White City.
“Although they had seating for an audience of maybe 100, we barely filled the front two rows with 20 people.”
El espectáculo, made by production company Banijay for the BBC, launched in 2009 and was previously filmed at the Television Centre in White City until 2013 when it moved to Elstree Studios.
The Reddit user continued to reveal how producers created an illusion of a full audience and added: “It was quite amusing to watch it on TV, they had to use very tight shots of us to not show the rows of empty seats.”
They went on to compare it to rival show As Yet Untitled presented by Alan Davies on Dave, praising the popularity and detailing how many people wanted to watch it filmed live.
Ellos dijeron: ”However, when I went to see As Yet Untitled in Hammersmith, the queue was round the block 45 minutes before doors.”
Debate then moved to how to get into the more mainstream shows with suggestions including taking a book and something to sit on as you queue.
Another used revealed the time of day you go makes a difference, ellos dijeron: “When I used to go to Have I Got News For You, I was always fine turning up an hour beforehand – and that was a popular evening show.”
