GOGGLEBOX favourite Pete Sandiford inisists he can’t afford to give up his job as a roofer, despite his TV fame.

Even though they’re now household names, the Channel 4 programme’s rate of £1,500-a-month isn’t enough to live off.
Speaking to The Sun at the Tric Awards, Pete, 27, mentionné: “We just saw Eammon Holmes. I am just a builder from Blackpool, so it is a bit strange when celebrities know us. I was on a roof yesterday.”
When asked if he’d consider giving up his job, il a dit: “I have got to my mortgage somehow.”
And he’s not interested in trying his hand at another reality show, en disant: “Non, nothing beats sitting on the sofa.”
