Jonnie, 49, took to his social media to tell his fans that he wasmaking the mostof life as he headed on a bike ride.

The presenter explained that he was suffering badly and hadn’t slept well, as he was dosed up on steroids during his cancer battle.

He told the camera: “After a terrible night’s sleep, up and down and getting painkillersoh it was just horribleit’s a beautiful day.

So I’ve got a steroid inside me and some more painkillers and I’m determined to make the most of this.

He panned round a view of a stunning lake as he headed out for the day on his bike among a group of friends and family.

It comes after the star claimed he was paid off from A Place In The Sun when diagnosed mid-series and his contract was not renewed.

Terminally ill Fernseher star Jonnie Irwin has spoken of his despair at the thought of leaving behind his wife and young children.

Jonnie was given just six months to live when he was diagnosed with lung cancer, which had spread to his Gehirn, im August 2020.

Medikation, radiotherapy and chemo have kept him alive. He had been filming A Place In The Sun in Italy when he became ill — and says producers paid him off and failed to renew his contract after he told them he had cancer.

Now thin and stripped of his blond hair by chemotherapy, er sagte: “As soon as people find out you’ve got cancer they write you off. Ja, ich habe stage four and it’s terminal — but not yet, so let me live my life while I can.

“As soon as I told A Place In The Sun about my diagnosis they paid me for the rest of the season but didn’t renew my contract. They knew I wanted to carry on.

“That hurt. That broke my heart. I feel hugely let down. I can’t even watch the show now.”
