Jonnie, 49, took to his social media to tell his fans that he was “making the most” of life as he headed on a bike ride.
The presenter explained that he was suffering badly and hadn’t slept well, as he was dosed up on steroids during his cancer battle.
He told the camera: “After a terrible night’s sleep, up and down and getting painkillers – oh it was just horrible – it’s a beautiful day.
“So I’ve got a steroid inside me and some more painkillers and I’m determined to make the most of this.”
He panned round a view of a stunning lake as he headed out for the day on his bike among a group of friends and family.
It comes after the star claimed he was paid off from A Place In The Sun when diagnosed mid-series and his contract was not renewed.

Medication, radiotherapy and chemo have kept him alive. He had been filming A Place In The Sun in Italy when he became ill — and says producers paid him off and failed to renew his contract after he told them he had cancer.
