KATE Winslet was left traumatised by filming Titanic, according to its director James Cameron.

But Cameron, who is working with her again on his Avatar sequel, 说: “I think Kate came out of Titanic a bit traumatised by the scale of the production and her responsibility within it.”

Nonetheless, two decades on, they were eager to work together again on The Way Of Water.

Cameron, 68, 开玩笑的: “She’s very large and in charge on set. You’d swear she was producing.”

The director also compared Avatar to the Terminator franchise.

“It’s possible, maybe even probable, that in our post-Covid streaming marketplace we won’t be able to achieve the levels that make (four more Avatar movies) a sound business proposition.”
