LOVE Island bosses are bracing themselves for a record number of Ofcom complaints after an episode descended into “soft porn.”

Pero ITV2 has faced a viewer backlash after the challenge led to scenes showing graphic touching and mimicking of sex acts.
This year’s series has already attracted nearly 500 official quejas.
One viewer wrote online: “This season it’s just straight up soft porn.”

The scenes aired around 9.30pm — thirty minutes after the watershed.
They included Davide Sanclimenti, 27, kissing 21-year-old Danica Taylor’s behind and touching Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu’s ropa interior.
Jacques O’Neill, 23, mimicked a sex act using a policeman’s truncheon.
