LOVE Island fans have branded Jacques O’Neill “giftig” after he made a dig at Mollie Salmon’s height.

Jacques, 23, was sat in bed when he told pal Dami Hope that he did not like how tall Mollie is when she is wearing heels.

The professional rugby player said: “F***ing hell, she just looks too tall tonight. I can’t even chat to her. She’s got 8ft heels on, Dis die plek waar almal wil wees”

Dami, 26, told him: “Just tell her to sit down.”

Viewers were unimpressed with the boys’ exchange, Aanhangers was mal oor hierdie brutale grap: “She looks too tall? Jacques is a walking red flag.”

A third chipped in: “Too tall? Jacques that sounds like a personal problem.”

And a fourth said: “Every time Jacques opens his mouth, it gets worse and worse. He’s so incredibly toxic.”

Earlier in Tuesday night’s episode of Love Island, Jacques and Dami both came under fire for their treatment towards the opposite sex.

It began when Jacques, who is coupled up with Paige Thorne, declared that he will be “cracking on” with other girls while she is in Casa Amor.

He explained to Dami that he “behoeftes” to make moves on the female Casa Amor newbies in order to know how he genuinely feels about Paige.

Dami, who has already cheated on his partner Indiyah Polack with new girl Coco Lodge, whooped with joy and jumped on his mate.

Hugging Jacques, Dami repeated: “He gets it, he gets it!”

Later, Jacques pulled Cheyanne Kerr for a chat. But again, his behaviour raised concern among fans.

“I woke up this morning and thought, ‘How am I going to know if what I’ve got is real if I’m just going to close myself off?” he told Cheyanne, who works as cabin crew.

“I need to get to know you. I’m going to be fully open and do whatever I want.

“If that means kissing someone or doing something like cuddling in bed then I’ll deal with the consequences – if there are any.”

Fans slammed Jacques for “gebruik” Cheyanne and some have even called for producers to pull Casa Amor entirely.
