LOVE Island star Gemma Owen is “gunning” for bombshell Danica Taylor after she bagged Luca Bish in the re-coupling.

The dancer’s boss, Laura Gilchrist, spoke openly about the 21-year-old dancer and hinted she’d already got her time in the villa laid out.

Laura, who runs Chica Bonita Entertainment, disse a Estrela diária she can already sense tension between dressage star Gema, 19, and her own pal Danica.

Ela disse: “I think Gemma is gunning for her [Danica] a little bit.

“I think she is quite moody and they’ve portrayed her as quite reserved and always tucked in the corner with a cushion murmuring.

“Então, I feel like she might be a little bit threatened even though she knows Luca might not go there with her, though she won’t admit that, but yeah I just feel a certain something is going on there.”

Danica caused a frenzy on Ilha do amor on Friday when she chose a less-than-impressed Luca as her partner for the re-coupling.

That night the fishmonger decided to sleep in the spare bed, instead of sharing with Danica.

The next day Danica and Lucas went on a date, but the tatted hunk didn’t want to drink and has made it very clear that he only has eyes for one girl – Gema.

Fans then slammed him for being “rude” to Danica as she attempted to chat to new bombshell Charlie.

Yet by putting a cat among the pigeons, Danica’s mate suggested her actions may have been pre-meditated.

Discussing the idea of a game plan, she added to the same publication: “I think she’s [Danica’s] gone in knowing she needs to make an impact and she needs airtime and to get the texts or tasks she knows she needs the airtime for people to get to know her a bit more, so she does know what she’s doing.”

Before she entered the villa, Danica warned: “I am definitely going to go in there and step on a few toes, and I am more than happy to go after what I want.

“I don’t really see competition, I am a very self assured girl, I know myself, I know what I bring to the table and there are stunning girls in that villa but I back myself.

“There’s obviously going to be competition but I have no fear that I won’t be able to turn heads.”

When asked how her friends and family would describe her, ela disse: “My mum always says I am a bit of a princess, a bit dramatic and always thinks I am right, which is very true.

“My friends would probably say I don’t hide from drama or arguments and I am a good friend.”
