SHE already has 12 top 20 singles and two top three albums under her belt, as well as a Brit Award on her mantelpiece.
But I predict this is just the beginning for pop sensation Mabel.
I can reveal the singer has signed a massive deal with TaP management — the company which turned Dua Lipa into an international superstar.
The move comes after Mabel split from her former team advisers as she was releasing her hit-packed second album About Last Night.
A source said: “This is huge news for her. It’s been a stressful few months with the album drop and changing management but the new deal means she’s in the best hands. The team around her have an incredible track record and now the sky’s the limit.”
Keen to stress there is no bad blood between herself and her former team, Mabel said: “I’m incredibly grateful to my previous management for the instrumental part they played in my development.
“I’m now really looking forward to the future, ambitious to achieve as much as I can and am extra positive knowing I face the future with TaP by my side.”
Mabel’s debut album High Expectations peaked at No3 in the charts, with her follow-up record going to No2 last month.
Insisting she had big plans for the next 12 months, Mabel said: “I’ve stuck by my guns and I’ve done what’s made me happy and I’ve worried less about what people thought and about the numbers.

“To me that’s a massive achievement because I’m such a people-pleaser and, actually, I’ve just been like, ‘I don’t care if it’s not getting the same attention’.
“Of course, there have been moments . . . but at the same time I’ve just put one foot in front of the other and been honest about it.”
Explaining she in the best place mentally she had been for a long time after struggling to adjust to life in the spotlight, she added: “Success for me was the numbers, the views, the followers, but the truth is that I wasn’t happy when I had all of that.
“Everything has changed so much with TikTok. I have to redefine what success is to me.
“If I had to choose between my numbers or the way mentally that I feel now I would choose this. But I’m hoping that one day they happen at the same time.”
With TaP now by her side I have no doubt Mabel has an exciting career ahead of her.
Louis on hunt for leak
Louis, preparing a return to the charts with his second album, has called in label bosses to investigate how the tracks surfaced.
One of them – All Along from 2018 – appears to be an emotional love letter to his on/off girlfriend Eleanor Calder.
The pair first dated from 2011 to 2015 before splitting then reconciling a few years later. Since then they are reported to have been on and off as Louis trying to balance the live of a touring pop star.
With his distinctive vocals, Louis sings about being “too young and naïve” when they first met before admitting every Ed Sheeran song reminds him of their first date at the superstar’s gig in Manchester.
A source said: “To say Louis is gutted is an understatement. No one knows how these things happen but it’s beyond frustrating when they do.
“Bosses at his label are investigating. All Along was written when Louis was working on his his debut album 2020 Walls with a few writers but it never made the cut.”
I told last week how Louis’s second album is set for release in November.
He is also planning on venturing into fashion by releasing a clothing line under the brand 28, his lucky number.
After a tough few days hopefully the only direction is up.
Record-breaker Nicki spices up act
NICKI MINAJ takes inspiration from Victoria Beckham as she strips down to promote her new single.
The Superbass rapper strikes the same painful-looking pose Posh Spice is known for, though she switched things up by ditching black for all pink.
Nicki is celebrating after her track Super Freaky Girl made history on Friday, becoming the biggest debut for a solo female rap song in Spotify history.
The single, which is so filthy it would make even Jason Derulo blush, had more than a million streams in the first 24 hours of its release.
Continuing her reign at the top, this month Nicki will receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2022 VMAs.
Sam’s cha-cha-chance to shine
SAM RYDER is keen to prove he is not a one-hit wonder when he performs on Strictly Come Dancing.
The Eurovision Song Contest runner-up has been invited to sing his follow-up to Space Man when the show kicks off next month.
A source said: “Sam is such a lovely guy and has finally brought respectability back to Eurovision.
“Everyone at the BBC is fully behind him so a performing slot on Strictly was a no-brainer.
“It’s the perfect opportunity to cement himself as a star beyond the contest. He’s been flat out since May and his album is due out in October, then he’s on tour early next year. There is genuine momentum behind him.”
After so many years of Eurovision hurt it is great to see us finally turn a corner.
I just hope some of the success rubs off on England’s footballers at the Qatar World Cup in November.
Kam’s hit with heartache
RISING star Kamille has no problem writing tear-jerking break-up songs — despite being happily married.
The architect of heartbreak anthems, including Little Mix’s Shout Out To My Ex and Mabel’s Don’t Call Me Up, recently celebrated her first anniversary with record producer husband Tazer.
She said: “I am the break-up song queen because I can access that pain in seconds. One of the tricks of being a songwriter is being able to empathise — something I do really well.
“So even though I am happy it is kind of like how Adele writes. She is happy now but in a minute she can write a really bad break-up song.”
Kamille, who recently released her single ‘weight loss’, said Beyoncé credited her with inspiring new album Renaissance.
Iggy makes a pit stop
IGGY AZALEA made her stage comeback, opening Pitbull’s Can’t Stop Us Now tour.
Iggy recently told how she almost quit music due to “negative energy” from bosses behind the scenes and overzealous fans.
In a long online post, Iggy said: “A year ago I was willing to walk away from music because I was tired of the negative energy it attracted.
“But what I’ve learned is that even when I’m minding my business, y’all gonna be negative and nosey.
“So If I can’t have peace, neither can you. I’m coming back. Cry About It.”
It’s good to see Iggy performing again.
AFTER more than two decades at the top you’d be forgiven for thinking Coldplay have done the lot and are now simply going through the motions like other Noughties bands.
But as I watched them kick off the UK leg of their Music Of The Spheres World Tour in London over the weekend it quickly became clear they have never been better.
With frontman Chris Martin at the helm, the two-hour show is utterly brilliant and more than a trip down memory lane.
This exclusive picture of Chris on stage shows he even had a message of solidarity to Ukraine, wearing their blue and yellow flag colours on his arm.
The tour, which includes six sell-out nights at Wembley Stadium, is full-on spectacle and goes beyond that of just another gig.
I challenge any cynic or plus one in the crowd over the next week not to get caught up in Chris’ self-declared “love fest” of a concert.
Or not to be mesmerised by the 90,000 flashing LEDs strapped to revellers wrists that turn the stadium into a 360-degree light show as darkness falls.
On Friday the group brought out Craig David as a special guest and, without wanting to ruin any of the surprises, I can confirm more guests are lined-up in the coming days.
I’m sure each night will be magical.
