Split with U.S. star Rome
MABEL has split from her actor boyfriend, we can reveal.
The pop sensation began dating US actor Rome Flynn el año pasado.
They called time on their romance six months later but rekindled their long-distance fling in April as Mabel began spending more time in the US.
The pair are said to have reconnected while the singer, who is the daughter of Nineties chart-topper Neneh Cherry, was recording new music in LA.
But we are told she and Rome, best known for starring in US legal thriller How To Get Away With Murder, have now ended their romance for a second time.
One source said: “Mabel and Rome have a lot of chemistry but it’s no secret their relationship faced serious challenges. He lives in LA while she is based in the UK and they both travel a lot for work.
“When you consider those factors, it is a pretty unlikely romance. But they like each other so much, so they agreed to try again earlier this year.
“Things were much more in their favour while they were actually in the same country. But unfortunately it still didn’t work out and they are both single again.”
La semana pasada, Rome hinted the pair had gone their separate ways with an Instagram post in which he described himself as single.
Mabel hasn’t engaged with him on social media since June.
Luckily, the Brit Award winner has a unique opportunity to pick up some romance tips, as we can confirm she is the surprise act hosting a Spotify party on Love Island next week, performing her recent single Let Them Know.
Friday night’s recoupling saw hearts shattered . . . so at least Mabel will be in good company.
J-Lo’s day-glow yellow
JENNIFER Lopez is just Jenny From The Yacht as she suns herself in this eye-catching canary-yellow bikini.
The US superstar was on a luxury holiday with boyfriend Ben Affleck, having chartered the £90million vessel for a trip to Europe.
La pareja, who recently reunited after first breaking up in 2004, were seen piling on the PDAs as they travelled to Italy, the French resort of St Tropez and Monte Carlo.
But even Bennifer need to put each other down now and then, as this pic of J-Lo enjoying some alone time shows.
In that bikini, Ben shouldn’t struggle to find her.
Humes is where the heart is…
La pareja, who are regular guest presenters on ITV’s This Morning, celebrated their ninth anniversary last week with a visit to their Oxfordshire wedding venue, Blenheim Park.
And they told of their plans to book the stately home for the renewal in 2022 after the former JLS singer surprised Rochelle with the trip.
Posting a black-and-white snap of the pair embracing at their 2010 boda, Rochelle wrote on Instagram: “We’ve decided next year we are doing it all again.
And she added: “Ten-year wedding.”
Alongside a separate picture of musician Joseph Ross, who played at their bash, Rochelle added: “Our incredibly talented @josephrossmd played this for us nine years ago. I hope you’re warming up for next year.”
Rochelle and Marvin, who together present BBC1 music quiz The Hit List, began dating in March 2010, and moved in together just three months later.
Marvin proposed the following year, in Antigua, and they wed in 2012.
They have three children together, Alaia, Valentina and Blake.
And it looks like their relationship is going from strength to strength.
Woody would dance
ZOE Ball’s son Woody Cook says he would consider doing Strictly Come Dancing . . . because he needs a job.
Woody, seen with his mum on The Circle and Caja de gafas de celebridad, was asked about Strictly in an online Q&A.
Sharing a picture of himself in a T-shirt emblazoned with the slogan “Unemployed”, respondió: “I need a job, so you never know!"
Él agregó: “Way more likely to dance than eat bugs.”
So bosses of I’m A Celeb can forget it.
Zoe is leaving Strictly spin-off It Takes Two after ten years as host.
Janette Manrara will step into her twinkly shoes . . . but might Woody have a chance if his mum puts in a good word? It beats stacking shelves at Tesco.
Green plots pot fib for tot
PROFESSOR Green plans to tell his young son his cannabis-themed tattoos and lyrics were inspired by a love of gardening.
The rapper – who got his nickname from dealing weed as a teenager – became a dad to Slimane Ray with his actress girlfriend Karime McAdams a principios de este año.
He told us this week: “I think I’ll say to him, ‘Daddy used to be a rapper, his name was Professor Green’. It will begin there.
“The initial explanation will probably be around horticulture. We have a book in our bathroom, a children’s story about marijuana called It’s Just A Plant.
“I don’t know if I’m going to let him read that or not, but it won’t be one of his first books. I think we’ll stick to Peter Rabbit for a while.”
He went on: “I know he’s going to see my tattoos and hear my music and there are going to be some conversations.
“But Karima and I are really open and honest and we want to pass that on. We want him to feel comfortable to ask us about anything.”
As a hands-on dad, the rapper – whose real name is Stephen Manderson – has been getting to grips with nappies and coping with sleep deprivation since Slimane arrived in March.
By his own admission, parenting is “really f***ing hard”. But Stephen says he is better placed to cope after finding a solution to his own health problems.
The star struggled with gut issues for years but co-founded liquid supplement company Aguulp in 2020 and the business has gone from strength to strength.
Él dijo: “I’ve found that the better I look after my gut, the more consistent my mood and the better I sleep.
“Everything is better. The response we’ve had so far has been phenomenal.”
Coxon’s fright idea
The Blur guitarist said: “Horror movies are a good one to do. I like working in an instrumental way. I like the idea of it, totalmente, yeah.”
Graham, who last played with Blur a couple of years ago, is still keen to perform with the band.
But he reckons they can’t just rely on the old hits.
Speaking on Phil Taggart’s Slacker Podcast, él dijo: “Every now and then it’s great to play in front of a big, smiley audience with your amp turned up loud. (Pero) you can’t just do it because you want a bit of adoration. You have to make something new.”
We’re all ears.
Jack gets ripped
JACK Whitehall is beefing up in a bid to land chunkier movie roles.
He said on the Private Parts Podcast: “I’ve got a personal trainer and am trying to get in shape. If you drink the protein powder, the muscles go straight in!
“I said to my agent, ‘For the right role I’d be willing to bulk up’.
“Él dijo, ‘That’s not how it works. You bulk up first, then you get the role’.
“If you’re Christian Bale, you are fine. But I’m not at that stage yet.”
Tribute to Tim helped tones
Mark Franks, Mike Crawshaw and Darren Everest have told how making music together helped them cope with their grief.
The vocal harmony group, who were joined by The X Factor’s Jay James in 2019, are marking a decade in music with their new album 10.
Mike told us: “It’s mad that we still feel like relative newcomers, though I guess we are veterans now.
“This album is about celebrating the legacy of The Overtones, past, presente y futuro.
“We are stronger as a unit now than ever before.
“After Timmy passed, we wanted to do something for our fans.
“During the grieving process, making music was really important for us. It brought us back together to communicate our thoughts and feelings.
“It was a goodbye to Timmy, De Verdad, and it helped us with the grieving process.”
Earlier this year the band recorded the #OTManChat, sharing their personal thoughts and experiences in a bid to inspire men to be more open emotionally.
Darren said: “I spoke about things I’ve never spoken about before, when I was at my lowest.

“I wanted to say to people experiencing that, ‘I’ve been where you are – and things do get better with time’. Después, my parents messaged me to say, ‘We’re so proud of you’. That was amazing.”
Mark added: “On social media it looks like everyone is living the dream. It’s really important to be open about how things actually are.”
We couldn’t agree more.
