A MAN arrested with a crossbow at Windsor Castle said: “I am here to kill the Queen”, a court heard today.
Jaswant Singh Chail stormed the royal grounds wearing a hood and mask on Christmas Day last year.
A police officer said he looked like someone from a vigilante movie.
Her Majesty was inside the castle with son Charles and wife Camilla at the time.
Following an investigation by counter-terrorism police, Chail, 20, was charged with making threats to kill, possession of an offensive weapon and an offence under section 2 of the Treason Act 1842.
This morning he appeared before Westminster Magistrates Court in London.
The hearing heard how Chail, from Southampton, wanted revenge on the establishment.
Ele disse, “I am here to kill the Queen” and was there “with intent to injure or harm” the monarch, the court was told.
