EVERYONE loves a good McDonald’s burger – or perhaps you prefer the nuggets and fries.
But despite the food looking appetizing when you eat it, things behind the scenes might not be so great.
A McDonald’s employee left people horrified when he shared how he clean the grills at the end of the day.
The employee, whose identity The Sun is choosing to protect, revealed he first “scrapes off the gunk” left behind while the grill is still hot.
He then adds some water to help loosen the grease, continuing to scrub.
Once the water has evaporated and he’s been able to loosen up all the old grease, he will spread a “goop that cleans the grill.”
While still warm, he continues to scrub the grill with water until most of the grease is gone.

Following his video, which has earned over 4K views, people had divided opinions.
It’s important to note that this is how this specific employee cleans the grills, but not a normal standard within the industry – as many people pointed out in the comment section.
Some were pretty upset, 一人が言って: “Why am I surprised that they clean?”
A second one commented: “That’s why my double cheeseburger is tasting funky.”
But many others were simply glad that McDonald’s cleaned their grills at the end of the day.

“Folded eggs," 彼は取りかかった, “come pre-cooked.”
He showed a sealed package of a dozen, bright yellow cooked eggs.
“All we do is throw them on the grill, arrange them neatly, put a little water in there, and then cook them again.”
After letting them heat up for a few minutes, he then scooped them into a tray and said they were done.
