She put the Château Cos d’Estournel on internet auction site Bid for Wine where it went for £185 after 16 bids.

凯瑞, 33, bagged the booze at her six-year-old daughter Madeline’s school fair in Stockport, Gtr 曼彻斯特.

她说: “I don’t know anything about wine. I’ve never drunk it as it gives me headaches.

But I only paid 50p for a tombola ticket — so to get £185 is amazing to me.

Kerry was going to give the wine to her nan for 圣诞节 and put it in a cupboard.

But when she came across the bottle again in a clear out she investigated.

她说: “I’m assuming the wine was donated by someone like me who doesn’t have a clue, and had probably been gifted it.

They must have decided to give it away without a second’s thought.

I do feel bad, 但俗话说, ‘one man’s trash is another one’s treasure’.

“From now on I’m going to check any wine I come across.

Times are hard and if you’ve got a little gold mine in your cupboard, why not.”

Château Cos d’Estournel is a red wine produced in Bordeaux, 法国.

It is described as “stunning”, “silky and seductive”.
