SAUCY TV chef Gino D’Acampo knows he’s come close to being cancelled in the two decades he’s been on our screens – he just doesn’t care.
After shooting to fame on 今朝, the Italian’s been swearing and dropping innuendos on a string of hit shows on the pretence he doesn’t understand British culture.
But instead of being axed, ジーノ, 46, now stars in a string of prime time ITV shows, and next week fronts another show – Gino’s Cooking Up Love.

“Have I ever crossed the line? I don’t think so because otherwise, I would’ve got fired.
“It’s a very dangerous way the way I do it.
“But I can get away with the accent and because I’m Gino and everybody knows me for a long time, I can get away with many things that someone else could not get away with it.
“There is this cancel culture, which everybody’s freaking out about.
“What they should do is instead of fighting the cancel culture is the way I do it: ‘I don’t care what you’ve got to say. That’s what I think. That’s the way I live my life.’”
