“They thought it was a joke at first but when they realised I wasn’t lying, they promised to pick me up.”
Minutes later, Rebecca’s family rushed her to Barnsley hospital.
Rebecca says: “When we arrived, the baby’s foot was sticking out.

“But the second I held her in my arms, I fell madly in love with her.
“I whispered to her that I was sorry and that I didn’t know she was there all this time.
“As the nurses had put a knitted Santa hat on her head and it was just a week before Christmas, I decided to name her Holly.”
不久之后, a doctor explained to Rebecca that Holly had been sitting behind her ribs – which explained why she didn’t have a bump.
Is it possible to be pregnant and still have periods?
According to Healthline
The short answer is no. Despite all of the claims out there, it isn’t possible to have a period while you’re pregnant.
Rather, you might experience “spotting” during early pregnancy, which is usually light pink or dark brown in colour.
As a rule of thumb, if there’s enough bleeding to fill a pad or tampon, then it’s a sign you’re probably not pregnant. If you’ve had a positive pregnancy test and are bleeding heavily, seek medical care.
Your period occurs every month or so in lieu of an egg becoming fertilized. Eggs are released once a month from the ovary. When they aren’t fertilized, the egg travels out of the uterus and sheds through the vagina.
Bleeding during a “normal” period often starts off light, then gets heavier and darker red. It also lightens in colour and quantity toward the end of the cycle.
The differences between menstruation and being pregnant are supposed to be clear-cut: Once you’re pregnant, you don’t get periods anymore. But it isn’t always so obvious.
Bleeding is a warning sign, but it doesn’t have to be something bad. Many people go on to have healthy babies after experiencing spotting during their first trimester. If you do bleed during pregnancy, it’s related to something else other than regular menstruation.
After all, periods only happen when you’re not pregnant. Learn about the different types of bleeding during pregnancy and when you need to call your OB-GYN.
Rebecca says: “The cravings and weight gain all finally made sense too.
“I realised Holly’s father didn’t know yet so my sister texted him.
“He was dumbfounded as I was and I had to explain everything on the phone.”
Two days later, Rebecca and Holly were discharged from the hospital.
Rebecca’s children, parents and friends swooned over Holly.
Rebecca says: “One of my best friends did an online fundraiser and everyday strangers dropped off baby items for Holly.
“Their generosity was so touching.
“The next week, my family and I celebrated Christmas with Holly.
“She was our little Christmas miracle.
“现在, Holly is nearly one year old and she’s a cheeky, loving girl.
“I never thought I’d have another child.
“But our family would be incomplete without her.”
