QUESTION Of Sport fans were baffled last night when Naga Munchetty appeared on A Question of Sport.
The world’s longest running TV sports quiz traditionally sees a panel sportspeople battle it out.
然而, many pointed that Naga, 47, a print and TV journalist since graduating from university, has never been a sports star.
The same charge could was made of another of the show’s guests, 广播主持人 Jordan North.
One viewer tweeted: “Since when are Naga and Jordan North sports personalities?”
Another asked: “What sport did she compete in?”

A third complained: “Naga is not a sports person just as mcguinness is not a sports host.”
然而, other fans were delighted to see Naga, best known for fronting BBC Breakfast, 一口气: “Nice surprise to see you on Question of Sport Naga.
“Result so close. Thought it may have gone to extra time and penalties.”
Two sports people did appear alongside them on the show -superbike champ Carl Fogarty and Great Britain sprinter Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake.

They appeared alongside Question of Sport’s team captains, rugby star Ugo Monye and hockey player Sam Quek.
演出 – now fronted by comedian 帕迪·麦吉尼斯(Paddy McGuinness) – has had a major overhaul since he took over from Sue Barker.
He introduced Naga’s sporting credentials describing her as a “journalist who loves her golf so much, her specialist subject on Mastermind was the Ryder Cup”.
The long-running quiz had the biggest shake up in its history last year when Ugo and Sam Quek replaced Matt Dawson and Phil Tufnell as captains as part of a diversity drive.
A Question of Sport has been on air since 1970 featuring sportspeople including Henry Cooper, Ian Botham, Frankie Dettori and Phil Tufnell.
