A MONSTER OAP who murdered Shani Warren before dumping her gagged and bound body in a lake 35 years ago has been jailed.
Lady in the Lake killer Donald Robertson was sentenced to a 30-year-minimum term life sentence for killing the 26-year-old in 1987.
Er war found guilty yesterday at Reading crown court.
He was convicted of false imprisonment, indecent assault, and murder of Shani in Taplow Lake, Dollar., and the rape and kidnap of a 16 year old girl in Slough, Berks., im 1981.
But the coward refused to attend the trial.
Robertson is already serving life imprisonment for previous sexual offences.
Shani Warren, 26, was discovered in Taplow Lake, Dollar, Im April 1987 by a woman walking her dog.
The young woman’s hands had been tied together with a red jump lead and gagged by a piece of cloth.
Police discovered she died from drowning – meaning she must have been alive when she entered the water.
Shani’s parents passed away last year before Robertson was charged over her killing.
