PETER Andre has opened up about his beloved mum Thea’s health struggles after celebrating his parents’ 67th wedding anniversary.
The 49-year-old is very close to his mum and dad, Savvas, and recently joined them in Cyprus as the family holidayed together.
Pete, who also travelled to Australia to see his parents earlier in the year, is savouring every moment he has with them, but is sad to watch age take its toll.
Writing in his OK! column, he said: “My parents celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary last week. 67 years! It’s pretty amazing. Dad’s going to be 90 next year and mum’s 86.
“Mum’s struggling at the moment, though. She’s not doing great. She’s suffering a bit and declining.
“I was with her a few months ago. We’ve just got to be with her as much as possible. It’s just age. She’s got all sorts of things going on now.”
Peter recently shared a rare photo of his parents to mark their special day.
The dad-of-four confessed that the anniversary was a bittersweet celebration.
He said: “Happy 67th wedding anniversary mum and dad. Love you both with every bit of my heart.
“I feel happy and sad posting this. Happy of course that they have achieved 67years of marriage together but sad that age is taking its toll and mum especially is really struggling.”

Pete added: “I always pray for your health, both of you. I also pray that I can be even half the parent to my children that you both are to me.”
Pop star Peter previously opened up about the hardship of living 9,000 miles from his parents who are based in Australia.
Writing in his New magazine column, he said: “I feel great about being a year away from 50.
“I dreaded turning 40 but actually my forties have been really amazing, I feel relaxed, and in a very happy place career-wise and personally.
“The only thing that worries me about turning another year older is that my parents are getting older and my mum’s health is really declining, which makes me sad.”
