PETER Kay’s return to the stage has been hijacked by ticket touts.
The comedian 48, is playing two shows at the 3,500 capacity Manchester’s O2 on August 7, to raise money for Laura Nuttall, 21, who has a brain tumour.
Tickets went on sale at £45 each yesterday morning at 9am but sold out in seconds, despite a limit of six a person.
自那时候起, they have already appeared on resale website Twickets, with one going for £175.
Peter has rarely appeared since cancelling his stand-up tour in 2017.
Fan Sharon Sharkey said on Twitter: “Gutted is an understatement. 29 seconds past nine, 想法, ‘Yes I’m in.’ Nope, all sold out.”
Peter met Laura Nuttall’s parents while working at Granada television nearly 20 years ago and is raising money for her cancer treatment.
They revealed the Phoenix Nights star rang them out of the blue in January 2019 shortly after Laura was diagnosed.
