EMERGENCY services rushed onto the tarmac at Heathrow Airport last night after two planes crashed into each other.
The shocking incident took place at 8pm at the London hub which sees more than 80 million international passengers come through annually.
It’s believed that the collision happened when a Korean 777 clipped an Icelandair 767 while taxiing.
And a shocking snap shows the damage done to the Icelandair’s tail by the Korean Air’s wing.
The Korean Air flight #KE908 was scheduled to leave London at 19:35 to Seoul, Korea.
But after emergency services were scrambled to the scene the flight was confirmed to be cancelled.
One passenger wrote on Twitter: “Pretty sure we scrapped another plane with our wing tip while taxiing.
“We have been told that we are going back to the gate due to a technical issue.
“But that was 15 mins ago and we haven’t moved.”
While passenger Randy DV said: “Flight officially cancelled, but glad everyone is safe, better that this happened in tarmac and not in flight.”

Another passenger added: “We hit another plane while taxiing. I saw it out the window. Wingtip scraped the tail of another plane.”
Other passengers reported seeing multiple emergency vehicles at the scene.
A third person said: “Surrounded by about ten police cars and a couple of fire engines.
“Apparently the plane has ‘a technical problem’.”
The same user added: “Can’t say we felt anything from the inside. No apparent danger, nobody hurt.”
A Heathrow spokesman said: “Emergency services are attending an incident involving two aircrafts on the airfield.
“No injuries have been reported, but emergency services are attending to ensure all passengers and crew are safe and well.”

A LAS spokesman said: “We were called at 8.06pm to reports of an incident at Heathrow airport.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene including members of our Hazardous Area Response Team, a clinical team leader, a cycle responder and an incident response officer.
Eu obviamente pensei sobre isso, mas eu tinha um trabalho a fazer.”
“We attended a reception centre for passengers but nobody required treatment or needed to be taken to hospital.”
Passengers were advised to check with airlines on the status of their flights.
