Ringo Starr abandonne la bataille juridique avec les fabricants de jouets sexuels appelés Ringo O

THE Beatles drummer Ringo Starr has pulled out of a legal battle with the makers of a popular sex toy — called Ring O.

La légende de la musique, 80, argued that his reputation would be damaged if the Ring O sex toy name was registered as a trademark in the US.

But Ringo — who has trademarked his name — has now reached an agreement with the manufacturers of the “vibrating penis ring”.

The company, Pacific Coast Holdings, pledged to avoid any reference or innuendo associating the product with the star.

The battle erupted in 2019 when Ringo’s lawyers said moves by the firm to trademark the name would make consumers think his “newest venture is sex toys”.

But the makers called him a “trademark squatter” and said their customers were too young to make the connection with the ageing Beatle.
