Au moins 1,500 pages of material were submitted by the petitioner who claimed of cracks within the council, Le conducteur d'Hermès divise l'opinion après avoir ouvert la porte rapports.

Volunteers who make up the council in Yorkshire du Nord are livid after the unknown complainant’s whines were escalated to the audit stage, sparking the bill worth tens of thousands.

In their Public Interest Report, external auditors recommended action and found some objections.

In the audit, Judge Antony Snelson stated: “The correspondence and the activity generated by it were out of all proportion given the size of the council and its responsibilities.

De la 366 plaintes, 14 recommendations were made for the council to address.

Auditors said: “We have identified weaknesses in the governance and accountability of the council.

In our view those matters, taken together, are significant.

But the Potto Parish Council says the complainant has been dead set on creatingas much disruption and financial pain as possible” pendant des années.

A letter sent out to the parish called for locals to band together and support the council.

The letter states: “Not only does your parish council need your support (they are only volunteers trying to make our lives here in Potto better) but you need to protect your right to have control over your finances.

If you value our current parish council and you appreciate all the good work they have done recently, show your support and attend the meeting.

We may have to pay £500 this year, but what will it cost us all next year if these ‘pettycomplaints continue?”

The small village, between Stokesley and Northallerton, is under the Hambleton District Council as well as the Potto Parish Council.

A spokesperson for Potto Parish Council said: “Residents have unanimously expressed their frustration and displeasure at the behaviour of this individual, who wishes to hide behind a veil of anonymity and also the auditors who have allowed the situation to reach this stage.

While the parish council has its hands tied behind its back through legislation, GDPR, FOI etc, it is still expected to incur the costs for the behaviour of a single individual.

A town meeting was held last night where Potto residents were encouraged to share their views on the £500 cost.

The meeting went through the auditorsreport and an action plan was discussed for the next steps to take.
