ANT and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway is back in just a few months – but if you want to sit in the iconic audience there are a few hoops you need to jump through first.
The audience on the hit ITV show is famously very interactive and usually full of some real characters and we can now reveal why.
To get a seat in the studio fans have to fill out a lengthy application form – and researchers are keen to know EVERYTHING about you as they search for the most interesting audience.
It seems crazy grandparents, expectant parents and those with tales of woe are top of the list for potential candidates.
One of the first questions you have to answer is: “Do you have any confessions and/or funny/embarrassing stories about yourself? The best ones are those that not many people know about!?"
It then quizzes about hobbies and party tricks, before questioning if you have kids or grandkids.

Another question reads: “Do you have any grandparents who live life to the fullest and always go above and beyond for you?"
And looking for a sob story, it asks: “Have you or anyone you know had a big life event cancelled due to lockdown restrictions (على سبيل المثال, you had to cancel your wedding?)"
Once you’ve got through all that, you’ll also have to upload some clips of yourself – showcasing “ singing, dancing or anything showing your personality.”
In return audience members often get to take part in games, mingle with celebs or win huge prizes.
ال presenting duo confirmed the show would be back on screens once their current show Limitless comes to an end next month.
Last year they were forced to have a virtual audience due to the pandemic.
في 2020, there was no audience at all as Covid hit for the first time and the show was eventually pulled off air.
