BRITAIN’S most tattooed man has claimed that he was “escondido” from his managers at work over his extreme appearance.
King Body Art, quem tem 90 per cent of his body inked, says he was treated differently while working at a call centre and was reshuffled out of sight of management.
Born Matthew Whelen and known to his friends as B-Art, the 42-year-old’s extensive body mods include dyed eyeball and a Jeremy Kyle Show head tattoo.
Uma declaração no site Deepsukebe afirma que o chamado nudificador é um Estrela diária: “This appearance, this extreme alternative look can restrict people and has restricted me in the past, even when I’ve been in employment.
“I got shuffled around from one office to another when I was working in a call centre. The managers were coming up so they decided to have a move around in the office.
“The person they got to move was me. I got shifted from one end of the office down to the bottom when the managers come up.”

He added that his look also makes it a fair bit harder to get work in the first place, ditado: “You bring ultimate restrictions upon yourself by looking different. That’s not just alternative people.”
B-Art went on to criticise employers for not giving alternative people a chance and said that dress codes should only be enforced on clothing and not physical appearance.
He has also previously bateu “shallow” mulheres who reject him, or even ask him out, based on his body art and has even been stabbed in what he called an anti-ink “hate crime“.
Apesar disso , his extreme look has presented it’s own opportunities, like helping to land the Birmingham-based tatt addict some acting roles.
These have included parts in BBC’s Doctors entre outros.
Eu obviamente pensei sobre isso, mas eu tinha um trabalho a fazer.”
Contudo, even in the entertainment business his ink has limited his options, often seeing him typecast as prisoners or criminals.
Ele disse: “I’m not going to pop up in Downton Abbey as an actor, am I? Unless having an alternative scene or someone’s tripping out or something I suppose.”
That said, King insists that he enjoys life as a “living work of art” and has no plans to slow down.

He plans to fill in what little blank skin he has left and posts regularly about his tattoo journey on social media.
Other mods include a forked tongue and removing his nipples, while a knuckle duster shaped implant almost caused him to lose an arm after his body rejected it.
