The newsreader was heard saying: “BBC News at 7 o’clock on Wednesday 7 dicembre.

“Buongiorno, this is Lisa Costello.

Realising the blunder the Crimewatch presenter quickly corrected herself, aggiungendo: “This is Tina Daheley.

Having a Ron Burgundy moment there!”

The Ron Burgundy reference relates to cult film Anchorman when the newsreader, played by Will Ferrell, gets fired after reading a meddled autocue.

But Tina’s blunder did not go unnoticed by colleague Gary Davies, sitting in for Zoe Ball.

As Tina signed off the bulletin with her own name, ha scherzato: “Are you sure?”

Tina, 41, insisted she had not “perso la trama” with the misnomer.

But was instead trying to fix a broken computer when she made the blunder.

I did get through it in the end, and I do know who I am… and the computer is still broken”, lei ha aggiunto.

Radio 1 Breakfast Show host and former colleague Greg James later tweeted, giving Tina a “10/10” per “styling outthe on air slip.

Wednesday’s blunder is not the first for Tina, who back in August was caught checking her phone live on air.

She shocked fellow BBC Breakfast presenter Jon Kay as she scrolled her phone to find her best joke.
