CHRIS KAMARA has issued fans with an update on his health after announcing his departure from Soccer Saturday.
The legendary pundit is set to leave the show after an impressive 24-year stint.
In a statement on Twitter, Kammer – also known as Kammy – schrieb: “Nach dem 24years at Sky Sports we have announced my departure.
“I have loved every minute and the memories will live with me forever.
“Working with Jeff and the boys has been Unbelievable!
“And the special days on Goals on Sunday with Ben Shephard who has become a great pal. I’ve had a blast!”

Sky Sports colleague Jeff Stelling led the tributes as the news broke on Saturday.
Er sagte: “The man is simply a genius, he’s an absolute genius.
“I can say from my point of view it’s been a privelege to work with Kammy for so long, he’s a key part of the Soccer Saturday success story.
“His warmth, his energy, his humour, his ability to misread cards. No one worked harder. He’s a good man, one of the very best, great friend, I will miss him enormously. Good luck Kammy!”

Fellow pundit Paul Merson added: “His knowledge of football is second to none. What a bloke and he loves his football.
“People will say he’s funny but his knowledge of football was scary. He will be sorely missed.”
Fans have shown concern for Kammy since he announced last month that he was battling a condition called Apraxia of Speech.

Er sagte: “Big thanks to everyone once again for your best wishes today.
“I had a tear in my eye when Unbelievable Jeff got choked up on screen.
“I can’t thank Sky enough for that wonderful tribute.
“The good news also is I am nearly there in terms of my health. Had amazing help.”

Alongside his work for Sky Sports, Kammy presents ITV’s Ninja Warrior UK with Ben Shephard and Rochelle Humes.
He is also set to present ITV’s new series The Games.
