PETER Andre has categorically ruled out ever returning to the I’m A Celebrity… 私をここから連れ出してください! jungle.
歌手, 49, says even if ITV came knocking with a huge pay check for their upcoming All Star series he would turn it down.
Asked about the prospect of heading to the camera-filled camp once more, ピーター, who will appear in upcoming West End musical Grease, 前記: “No I wouldn’t but I would definitely present it…as in, I know Ant and Dec present it but you know the spin offs they do.
“Now those I would love to do and present but no I wouldn’t go back in the jungle.”
Insisting he has nothing but love for the show which changed his life in 2004, Peter continued: “I wouldn’t go back because I have already – when Fatima Whitbread was in there in 2011 I went back as she was talking about me but I went in for a day and that was it.
“というのは, how many times do you do the same thing? I wouldn’t but it is one of the best shows on TV.
“I think people would be like ‘mate get over it. you’ve been on it too many times’. I would like to present it though.”
Pete first entered the jungle in 2004 where he met Page 3 model Jordan aka Katie Price and embarked on a very public romance followed by marriage and two children.
In April The Sun revealed how ITV had commissioned a special one-off All Stars series featuring “the most loved and favourite” campmates from the show’s past.
Rather than heading Down Under, the show will be filmed in South Africa later this year.
It will be filmed in Kruger National Park where, 皮肉なことに, the Aussie version of the show is shot.
Producers will still shoot a normal series – featuring brand new stars – in Murwillumbah, New South Wales later this year.
The Best Of version will then likely air in early 2023, giving viewers THREE series in less than two years as the show switches back from Gwrych Castle, north Wales, to Down Under.
All three runs – インクルード 2022 normal version, Best Of, そして 2023 シリーズ – will be hosted by long-running presenters Ant and Dec.
テレビの情報筋によると: “Fans have been crying out for a Best Of series for years, and their prayers are being answered.
“The normal show will be filmed in Australia as planned, unless COVID makes it impossible again. The South African project is in no way a back-up, it’s a completely different series.
“It will see all of the iconic names who have made the show so popular over the years return to the campfire and battle it out to be crowned the Best Of champion.
“There are so many to choose from and they’re sounding out the most talked-about ones now.
“Ant and Dec will host all three series as normal, and the South African version will still be based in the world of I’m A Celeb.
“The camp mates will be doing trials and living in the camp environment, but with fresh and exciting new twists on the format.
The campmates will have a hand in their own destiny through a series of internal votes and challenges.
“This new edition is likely to air in 2023 but before that viewers will get to enjoy the show’s much anticipated return to Australia in November.”
